The college of Allied Health Science, Faculty of Medicine & Health Science, SRM Institute of Science and Technology has organized a rally in view of “World Heart Day-22” on 25th September 2022 (Friday) at Samayapuram Toll plaza between 9 am to 10 am. The theme of the rally was make an awareness on “Use Heart for Every Heart” among the public and commuters.
The program was started with thamil thai valthu followed by welcome address delivered by Dr.
A. Sundhararajan, Vice Principal, AHS and he invited all the dignitaries, faculties, students and public followed Dr. M. Manikumar, Dean-Physiotherapy delivered the preseidential address. Finally the chief guest Mrs.Aakhya, Project Director-NHAI has delivered the key note address. She has mentioned the importance of early check up for heart function. Mr. S. Sasidharan, Second year Cardiac Care Technology student has delivered the vote of thanks.
Totally 45 students from Cardiac Care & Cardio Perfusion technology students were particiapted the rally. The students were distributed the pamphlets which is expalining about the “Care your Heart & Key Chain” around 500 publics including NHAI office people, Polic department and commuters.
