SRM Trichy College of Allied Health Sciences is a private college established in 2021 under the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University), Tiruchirappalli Campus. Located in the vibrant educational city of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, the college is dedicated to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals through innovative teaching methods, clinical excellence, and a global perspective on the healthcare industry.

The college aims to impart high-quality health science education through a competency-based curriculum, supported by well-experienced and qualified doctors, student-centric teaching methods, and state-of-the-art facilities that ensure a comprehensive and enriching learning experience on campus. At this outset, I would like to express my view on education that the goal and function of education is to provide the knowledge, character and to think intensively and critically to be a successful professional and a good citizen. As former Indian President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once said, “Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, and knowledge makes you great human being”, the more you read, the more you learn. Mahatma Gandhi also said ‘you learn as if you wish to live forever’.

Facilities

The institution maintains a computerized central library spanning 720 sq m, which is accessible to students. The library caters to the needs of both students and faculties, with a collection of over 15,000 books. Additionally, it subscribes to 80 specialized national journals and reputed newspapers for their benefit. The central library serves as a valuable resource for students to expand their knowledge and expertise.
