The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, SRMIST, Tiruchirappalli campus conducted a special programme “Coffee with Dean” for motivating and encouraging of better performance of top ranking students. 

In this connection, to get more university ranks, a meeting was arranged with II Year B.Tech students who secured in " O " grade in the III semester end semester examination on 30/1/2023 at seminar hall @ 3.30 p.m. 20 faculty members and 47 students attended the programme.

Dr.R.Balaji Ganesh , Asst.Prof and HoD (i/c) of AIML welcomed the gathering. The Dean Dr.R.Krishnamoorthy , felicitated students and encouraged the students to do well for exams. He also suggested to importance of resume building, GATE Preparation, participation of hackathon etc.. He also explained the placement opportunities besides registering for NPTEL / MOOC courses, Model United Nation and Membership in Professional societies & its activity. The Director Dr. N.Malmurugan, discussed about the significance of foreign languages and semester abroad programmes. Dr.R.Balasundaram , Associate Dean proposed the vote of Thanks.
