The IoT INNOVATE – 2025 workshop, held on 7th and 8th August 2025 at SRMIST Tiruchirappalli, provided students with hands-on experience in the Internet of Things (IoT). Organized by the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Humanities, the event covered key topics like smart connectivity, embedded systems, and sustainable IoT solutions.

Dr. Jehan Murugadhas, Professor at the University of Technology & Applied Sciences, Oman, delivered an insightful keynote address. Participants engaged in setting up IoT devices, exploring cloud integration, and collaborating on real-world problem-solving challenges. The workshop featured expert talks, DIY projects, and hackathons, fostering innovation. The event concluded with certificate distribution and networking opportunities.
