A seminar on “Drug Abuse: Causes and Prevention” was held at Eswari Auditorium, SRM IST, Tiruchirappalli, in the presence of 500 pulse students aimed at raising awareness about the pressing issue of drug abuse among youth. The Guest speaker, Mr. S. Senthil Velan, Drug Inspector from the Food Safety and Drug Administration, provided an in-depth analysis of the causes of drug abuse and effective prevention strategies. He stressed the need for vigilance and community involvement in combating this societal issue.
