The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Tiruchirappalli, was established in 2021 with a commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation. With a dynamic and forward-thinking approach, SEEE has emerged as a leading academic unit on campus, fostering an ecosystem of technical expertise, interdisciplinary collaboration, and societal impact. Our vision is to nurture world-class engineers equipped with cutting-edge knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and research acumen to address real-world challenges in the field of Electrical, Electronics and Biomedical Engineering. SEEE is dedicated to preparing students for the ever-evolving technological landscape by offering an industry-aligned curriculum, hands-on learning experiences, and research-driven education. The school offers four undergraduate (B. Tech.), one post graduate (M. Tech.) and Ph. D. programmes, ensuring a strong foundation in core engineering principles while integrating emerging technologies. These programs are designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, covering fundamental concepts and advanced specializations such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, 5G communication, Internet of Things (IoT), renewable energy systems, smart grid technologies, and biomedical innovations. SEEE fosters an active research culture by encouraging faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge projects. With a state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and collaborations with industries and research organizations. SEEE actively collaborates with industry partners, enabling students to participate in internships, industry sponsored projects, and technical workshops.
