📋 Eligibility Criteria

A two-year Master’s degree or equivalent professional degree with a minimum of 55% marks or a ‘B’ grade on the UGC 7-point scale (or equivalent from an accredited foreign institution).

Candidates with an M.Phil. degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade ‘B’) who have completed M.Phil. coursework are eligible.

A 5% mark relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled candidates.

💰 Financial Support

Full-time PhD scholars with provisional registration receive a stipend of Rs. 25,000/month for up to 3 years.

Scholars qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/GATE/GPAT are eligible for Rs. 31,000/month for up to 3 years. Stipend continuation is subject to satisfactory annual research progress.
