Deep Learning for Engineering Applications organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research(NITTTR),

SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, School of Computing hosted a 5 days National Level Faculty Development Program on "Deep Learning for Engineering Applications" organized by National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research(NITTTR), Chandigarh from 2nd September 2024 to 6th September 2024 at first floor seminar hall IST Block. The Faculty Development Program (FDP) took place through online mode using video conferencing, with both internal and external faculties actively engaging over the course of five days. The FDP's goal was to get familiarized with both fundamental and advanced Deep Learning applications such as CNN Essentials and Face Recognition, Object Detection using Deep Learning and Data Augmentation techniques, etc.
